The Maison de la nature et de l'estuaire, a property of the Calvados Department managed by the CPIE de la Vallée de l'Orne, is the "Nature" gateway to one of the largest protected natural areas in Calvados: the Orne estuary.
This interpretation center explains this rich and preserved natural environment. It also proposes temporary exhibitions related to the coastline and/or the biodiversity of our region as well as a program of activities to better understand nature while having fun! Consult "Estuaire Insolite".
Between land and sea, a very original aquatic fauna and flora can be observed. More than 400 species of birds have been counted.
