The Abbaye-aux-Hommes is an architectural masterpiece of medieval and 18th century art. Founded in 1063 by the Duke of Normandy, William the Conqueror, and still housing his tomb, it was consecrated in 1077.
The convent buildings, rebuilt in the 18th century, house the headquarters of the Caen City Hall, one of the most beautiful in France. Take advantage of the visit to admire its prestigious places such as the cloister or the Guard Room.
