Le Memorial de Caen, inaugurated on June 6th, 1988, is a tourist attraction in Notrmandy and one of the first European memorial sites. It traces the history of the Second World War in its entirety and celebrate peace.
Le Memorial de Caen is not only a museum of the landing or the Battle of Caen, it is also an educational tool that raises awareness among younger generations about their past, an observatory of the News International Peace and a veritable museum of the twentieth century’s history.
It has lots of meeting spaces: 2 auditoriums of 166,340 seats, 2 meeting rooms, a hall that can accommodate up to 600 people for cocktails.
