Caen Sprint Race

On Saturday 19 September, the quays of the Caen Peninsula will host the SPRINT RACE CAEN, a spectacular new international rowing competition featuring head-to-head races over 350 metres. Going head-to-head, crews of eight and four rowers will compete in short, intense and easy-to-follow races, finishing at the foot of the Guerveur in the heart of the event, where a DJ set will provide the musical atmosphere.
Throughout the afternoon, the public will be able to enjoy a festive atmosphere with food and drink, entertainment, rowing taster sessions and information on para-rowing.
Free and open to all, SPRINT RACE CAEN aims to become an unmissable event combining sport, entertainment and a friendly atmosphere in the heart of the Presqu’île.
