Different music, different location. Wallace Cleaver, who hails from the Loir et Cher region of France, has taken a step backwards in French rap, while remaining a worthy heir to the genre. His introspective lyrics tell the story of a provincial boy's journey to the City of Light, a journey marked by nostalgia and ambition, budding relationships and the one you try in vain to forget.
The artist does not confine himself to a rap influence, already oscillating within rap in all its sub-genres and rhythms, he also explores the terrain of song, pop and spoken-word when necessity catches up with him.
This is Marcel's breakthrough album. It is the album on which Wallace fully asserts himself, where his artistic identity finally appears in its definitive form, the result of a decade of research, doubts and reconstruction.
