The Great Parade of Scottish pipers and drummers is back for the 82ᵉ anniversary of D-Day. Musicians from six nations (France, Switzerland, Belgium, the United States, Italy and Ireland) will gather on Sword Beach to sound the emblematic tunes of Scottish tradition and pay tribute to history.
The parade dedicated to Bill Millin will start at 4.30pm on the Boulevard Maritime and will be followed by an aubade in front of the statue. From the great classics of the repertoire to new pieces, this musical and commemorative moment will celebrate the memory of the Green Berets and the spirit of fraternity that unites our nations.
