In keeping with tradition, the Scallop and Seafood Festival returns every year during the first weekend of the school holidays, on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October. During the festival, you can stroll through the Fish Market to buy the star of the show – the scallop – as well as all kinds of fish and shellfish. The town has also put together a programme of entertainment to run throughout the weekend.
