On June 8, 2024, the Club des Internationaux de Football is joining in the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the D-Day Landings and the Battle of Normandy by celebrating veterans through the organization of a meeting between L'Équipe de France des légendes, made up of former international players and prestigious former players from Stade Malherbe Caen.
The meeting will take place on the pitch of the Michel d?Ornano stadium at 8:00 p.m. and will feature the club?s most capped players: Nicolas Seube, Anthony Deroin, Jérémy Sorbon, Cédric Hengbart and Cyrille Watier. Former glories of the "rouge et bleu" will be pitted against those of the French national team, including Claude Makélélé, Franck Leboeuf, Emmanuel Petit and Grégory Coupet.
The SMC | Stade Malherbe Caen and the City of Caen are proud to be associated with this event, which will see all profits donated to the association "Le Bleuet De France".
