For its 15th edition, from April 9 to 16, 2026, KinoCaen will once again take over the Logre premises for an audiovisual creation laboratory dedicated to short films. Organized by the KinoCaen association, the festival is part of the international Kino movement, founded on the principle of mutual aid and the pooling of know-how.
Over the course of a week, production teams come together to create films in a very short space of time. The festival will open with an ice-breaking session, enabling participants to get to know each other around a film written, shot and edited in a single day, then screened the same evening. This will be followed by two intensive 72-hour sessions, with public screenings on Monday April 13 and Thursday April 16. As every year, more than 70 films will be produced in Caen, making this anniversary edition a high point for creation and sharing.
