Visit to the Chapelle du Bon Sauveur

A jewel of the Reconstruction period, the Chapelle du Bon Sauveur was rebuilt by architect Léon Rême in 1956 on the foundations of the former Capuchin chapel.

The tour includes a brief history of Le Bon Sauveur and a presentation of some of the buildings, a visit to the large garden (the former main courtyard), the chapel rebuilt by Léon Rême and its cloister, and a look at the work of Gabriel Loire, who, along with Yves Trévédy, designed the chapel's stained glass windows.

This tour is organised by the Musée de Normandie, as part of its efforts to promote the heritage of the City of Caen.

Duration: 2 hours. Open to all, aged 12 and over (children must be accompanied by an adult).
