What if water were to become an ally in designing the city of tomorrow?
The Urban Archipelago exhibition is back to extend the reflection begun with the Biennial on the ways in which we inhabit our territories in the face of rising water levels.
From visionary projects to development scenarios, the exhibition explores new ways of cohabiting with water, imagining cities that are more resilient, more sensitive, sometimes by agreeing to let water take its place again.
To discover:
concrete alternatives for better integrating natural environments
urban projects adapted to climate change
ways of adapting: habitats, changing landscapes, water management, etc.
A guided tour of the exhibition is available on Wednesday 25 February, from 2.30 to 3.30 pm. Please register at contact@lepavillon-caen.com.
An exhibition created in association with the Fondation Jacques Rougerie, Waterstudio, the DAC (Danish Architecture Center) and the Centre of Resilience in Bihar, India.
