The Conservatoire & Orchestre de Caen offers its most advanced students the chance to join the ranks of the Orchestre de Caen for a unique experience, on the occasion of the "New World" concert. On the program: Dvorák's grandiose New World Symphony and the vibrant Violin Concerto No. 2 by Florence Price, the first African-American composer to succeed in her segregated homeland.
