The GOLDY Trio invites trumpeter Fabien Mary for a program devoted to standards and compositions by great jazzmen of the 1950s and 1960s, such as Clifford Brown, Lee Morgan and Kenny Dorham.
Fabien Mary is considered one of the finest trumpeters on the French scene, with a sound that combines assurance and lyricism. His awards include the Django D?or Jeune Talent 2003 and the Révélation jazz à Juan 2004. He has played with Wynton Marsalis, Diana Krall, Benny Golson, Johnny Griffin, Michel Legrand and Archie Shepp... He is also a composer and arranger.
