Summer is drawing to a close, the holidays are over, and ‘Musique en écrin’ is resuming its 2026 programme. The next musical event will be dedicated to child prodigies of MUSIC
It is not uncommon for a great composer to show their talent from a very young age. This is often thanks to music-loving parents who give their child the chance to be introduced to music at a very early age. And these young prodigies flourish at lightning speed! Mozart wrote his first minuet for harpsichord at the age of 4, Saint-Saëns his first galop for piano at 6, Chopin his first polonaise at 7, and the young Mendelssohns set off on concert tours as early as the age of 10… Pianist Manuel Lucas invites you to discover these works composed in the composers’ earliest years – with their already harmonious melodies – alongside the more mature works of these same composers.
So, make a note of this date – we look forward to seeing many of you there!
