Activities aimed at families with children as part of the "Les Étonnants Patrimoines" operation.
Departure times for P.E. tours: 10.15 am, 1.45 pm and 3.45 pm on Saturdays and 10.15 am and 1.45 pm on Sundays.
The activities are designed to be fun, experiential and sensory for all the family, adults and children alike (recommended for children aged 8 and over), enabling them to learn while having fun! What a programme!
In detail:
When you arrive, you'll be greeted by your hosts, Anna, Johanna and your guide, and we'll get to know the small tour group of no more than twenty people.
We'll follow a guided tour that includes a presentation of the "Distelfink" radar station, its history and its role, all in an interactive version that's just as suitable for children as it is for adults, and that will take us right up to the animation.
During this interactive animation, Anna and Johanna will explain their role and that of the women present at the station in 1944, and what their daily lives were like. Then you'll be treated to a private fitting of headdresses, with handling of uniforms, equipment and communications equipment and, in a nod to their current profession, an introduction to the role of nurses and medical auxiliaries in the army.
The family experience will end with a cooperative game between participants, with a prize for the children!
It's sure to be an unforgettable visit!
