Juin 1944 : Au Bon-Sauveur de Caen – Du chaos vers l’harmonie

On June 6, 1944, Caen was in the throes of bombing. In a gesture of relief, huge red crosses were painted on the roofs of the Lycée Malherbe and Bon-Sauveur buildings, while others were traced on the ground.
These distinctive markings signaled to Allied aircraft the presence of refugees in the heart of the city, offering a glimmer of hope in the midst of chaos. For over a month, some 10,000 people found refuge under the protection of these homemade banners.
This event will transport you into the meanders of this historic day through a theatrical conference, rich in images and archive films, hosted by patients from the EPSM. The show will close with a moving choreography by the RAATI company, celebrating the symbols of peace, hope and harmony between peoples.
Don't miss this unique experience, orchestrated by Igor Futterer, with the participation of the Art Therapy workshop!
