To mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day, the battery museum invites you to take part in this re-enactment. A retrospective of the history of the battery assault, paying tribute to the liberating paratroopers of Colonel Otway's 9th Battalion. Costumes, props, vehicles, pyrotechnics and sound effects plunge the spectator into the heart of history and action. This leap into history revives memories and tells today?s generations about the drama that unfolded at the dawn of the Longest Day.
