Oskars Pavlovskis is an artist from Riga. Since 2006, he has been working professionally as a 3D graphic designer, illustrator and animator. His main focus is on characters, inspired by the people he observes on the street and in his surroundings.
His great passion for organic forms and anatomy leads him to create characters with an often unstructured look, becoming chimeras between reality and fi ction. For this edition of Les Boréales, Oskars has specially designed new illustrations based on traditional Latvian masks.
