Painter and ceramist Yvonne Guégan is a major figure in Caen's cultural life. Committed, visionary and deeply attached to her city, she left her mark on the 20th century through her work and her driving role in Caen's artistic and associative revival. An advocate of women's rights and the place of artists in society, she leaves a lasting imprint.
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of her death, Le Millénaire presents an original retrospective retracing her career and influence. This exhibition is organized in partnership with Les Amis d?Yvonne Guégan, the Archives du Calvados, the Université de Caen and private collectors.
