The suffering and horrors of the Second World War have left their indelible imprint on our memories, turning the world into a veritable puzzle to be repaired. It took the Caen-based Archives des victimes des conflits contemporains a year to untangle this historical chaos and mount the exhibition devoted to the repatriation of prisoners and deportees to France at the end of the Second World War.
