Set off to conquer the town's red and white sentinel and take a deep breath before climbing the winding staircase with 171 steps! All the effort is well worth it: at a height of 38 metres, you have a breathtaking 360° view over the town, an endless horizon and boats to be seen 16 nautical miles away! You will almost certainly see one of the two ferries, the Mont-Saint-Michel or the Guillaume de Normandie, run by the Brittany Ferries between Ouistreham-Riva-Bella and Portsmouth...
