For the "Pierres en Lumières" event, the association for the preservation of the church at Lion-sur-Mer is inviting the Trio Malaga. Made up of two singers, Marion Jaussaud (mezzo-soprano) and Laure Dagorn (soprano), the ensemble will perform a varied and spellbinding lyrical programme, mixing duets and solos, accompanied on the piano by Fanny Le Roy.
Inspired by the four elements, the concert programme will bring together works from the Baroque era through to the XXᵉ century, with compositions by Purcell, Fauré, Poulenc, Delibes and many others.
To create a dialogue with the evocative power of the chosen theme - air, fire, earth and water - videos and images of the Côte de Nacre will be projected onto a large screen. In this natural theatre, dancer and choreographer Valérie Glo will bring an immersive dimension to the event, enhanced by the lights of the Côte de Nacre.
It's an original event, accessible to all, and not to be missed!
Volunteers from the association will be on hand to welcome members of the public from 8.30pm, inviting them to explore the church at Lion-sur-Mer before the concert.
