Mushroom picking outings in the forest are organised by the Société Centrale d'Horticulture de Caen et du Calvados.
These outings are led by mycologists Serge KLEIN. The outing offers the public the chance to learn how to identify a few mushrooms and recognise the edible or poisonous species most frequently seen in the region.
Bring a basket with paper bags to avoid mixing toxic mushrooms with edible ones, a knife and boots.
