Meeting “In Caen the future” | TURFU Festival

Free, registration required. Tomorrow, a time capsule will be discovered on the peninsula

To coincide with the screening of the film by artist Ann Guillaume, À Caen, le futur, the Presqu'île will become a space for reflection and dialogue on the imaginary world of tomorrow.
In the presence of experts, it's an invitation to question the transformations of the area, the possible utopias and the futures under construction.

What traces is our society leaving behind? What are the contemporary forms of heritage? The evocation of time capsules buried in 2025 raises questions about the long term, about what we choose to pass on, to preserve or to let disappear. Between memory, obsolescence and projection into the future, these devices become sensitive markers of our hopes, our concerns and our representations of the future.

The screening of the film by artist Ann Guillaume, À Caen, le futur, will be followed by a time for discussion in the form of a meeting and round table.
This special occasion will be an opportunity to compare artistic views, experiences and perspectives, and to think together about the legacies of the future and the ways in which the present is already shaping the archives of the future.

The event will close with a convivial time to discover the imaginary square and the time capsules.
