La Ville aux cent clochers” walk

The Fédération Française de Randonnée Pédestre (French Hiking Federation) invites you to take a walk along the Terre & mer nature trail in Caen.
Known as "the city of a hundred steeples", Caen towers skywards in a forest of spires and towers that tell the story of its history. From the Romanesque bell towers of the Abbaye-aux-Hommes and Abbaye-aux-Dames to the more discreet silhouettes of local churches, each one marks the urban landscape with its own identity.
6km circuit, moderate pace. Start at the entrance to Saint-Pierre church.
