Based on sound recordings made in gardens in Normandy using hydrophones - microphones designed to record aquatic sounds - the installation composes an original acoustic landscape of the site, at once organic, moving and deeply sensory. It takes the form of a series of aquarium-sculptures containing stainless steel water lilies, inspired by the aquatic vegetation of bodies of water. Sound sources diffuse an immersive atmosphere throughout the space. This miniature garden questions our relationship with water and the fragility of living things.
The exhibition can be seen from 6 May to 6 June 2026 in the Artothèque's project space.
