Gestural and clowning duet

Germaine et Germaine, a gestural and clowning duo for two grannies and their bench. There's the city, there's this street, there's this bench and these two little old ladies who pass the time. Never where you'd expect them to be, sometimes mischievous, often irreverent, always playful, these two slightly sadistic grannies are full of humour and offer a sometimes gentle, sometimes acerbic and cruel view of the world around them. Playful and wacky, these two draw us into their burlesque and absurd world, where old age is played out and mocked.

This show is part of the Tongs & Espadrilles festival taking place from 7 to 10 July 2026 at the Espace Vert Farré in Mondeville! Free and open to all, this family event offers four days of entertainment and outdoor shows.
