Originally from Caen, THURB is a versatile artist who combines graphic design, graffiti and illustration. Inspired by the urban energy of his city, he has made his mark with a pop, colourful style that can be seen on flagship projects such as a fresco at Caen's Stade Malherbe, the artistic direction of the student carnival and the poster for the Caen 2025 international fair. Today, he works with artists such as Squeezie and Bigflo & Oli as well as brands such as Redbull and Adobe on creative projects.
THURB, keen to share his experience, invites you to his introductory nature sketching workshop, 'First Love Workshop', in the heart of Caen Castle. In small groups of 5, over the course of a morning, participants will produce three sketches of the site (using pencil, felt-tip pen and watercolour) to explore different techniques. This workshop invites participants to observe, feel and transcribe the place in real time, to discover the spontaneity of sketching and the technique of watercolour, while taking artistic ownership of the landscape.
Duration: 1h30 to 2h. For all, aged 14 and over. Beginners are welcome to join the workshop. Registration opens 2 months before the date of the activity.
