Different perspectives

Artists, cultural organisation leaders and scientists are offering a fresh perspective on the collections by selecting around ten works from the museum and proposing a guided walk featuring anecdotes, memories, readings and musical excerpts… all inspired by the paintings.
- Thomas Lévy-Lasne, painter and curator of the exhibition *La Modestie* (14 November 2026 – 13 February 2027) to mark the anniversary of the Artothèque de Caen.

- Pierre Senges, writer, has co-authored *Cendres des hommes et des bulletins* (Le Tripode) with Sergio Aquindo, a series of variations on Brueghel’s *The Beggars*. He is in residence at the IMEC from 3 November to 4 December.
Thursday 12 November, 12.30 pm

- Clédat and Petitpierre are staging André Campa’s *Le Carnaval de Venise* at the Théâtre de Caen from 23 to 24 January.

- Delphine Hecquet directs *Requiem pour les vivants*, to be performed at the Théâtre de Caen from 16 to 17 March. Starring Marie Bunel, actress (subject to confirmation).

- Daniel San Pedro directs *Les Voix de Carmen* at the Théâtre de Caen from 13 to 14 April. Starring Camélia Jordana (subject to confirmation)
