Café Calva Caennexion, founded in 2018, is a brass band made up of healthcare students from the city of Caen, bringing together conscientious students by day and quirky little clowns by night, always with an unwavering ‘carabini’ spirit at their fingertips.
You’ll be able to discover their varied repertoire, ranging from Charles Aznavour to Billie Eilish, via Coldplay and Stevie Wonder. For this brass band, there’s just one motto: a correct note played timidly is a wrong note, whereas a wrong note played with conviction is an interpretation.
After eight years of arranging, it was time to record their music on a CD.
They look forward to seeing you on Friday 25 September at 8.30 pm for a debut concert. You’ll be able to pick up their album at the end of the concert.
