Buzz Booster: Regional Final 2026

Come along to the Cargö on 30 April to see the four shortlisted artists perform on stage in their bid to earn a place in the national final.

BENDE

Bende, real name Arthur, is a new voice on the French rap scene. Not yet twenty, but with several years of writing behind him, he is developing a sincere, raw and instinctive identity. With him, there's no posturing: music is an outlet, a way of transforming experience into sound. He has been writing since childhood - texts, theatre, screenplays - with this constant need to tell, to say, to empty.

His rap draws on a wide range of influences: nervous trap from the 2010s, a strong taste for lyricism and oriental sounds shaped by his travels and family roots.

His encounter with the Hotel 239 collective in Caen proved to be a trigger. Stages, studios, concerts and acclaimed debut titles followed, all in a spirit of family and surpassing oneself.

With his first EP, "20", Bende marks a turning point. The project traces a period of transition, between doubts, contained anger and the desire to move forward. The music is full of contrasts, oscillating between raw intensity and melodic breaths, marking the transition from Arthur to Bende: from a teenager in waiting to a conscious artist on the move. Without calculation or boundaries, Bende stands out as a breath of fresh air, balancing rage and sensitivity.

R'MAY

R'MAY is a rapper from Rouen, originally from Madagascar. Passionate about writing since childhood, R'may approaches her music as word therapy. Her rap ranges from brutal trap to delicate neo-soul, and her pen is both introspective and raw, always face-to-face with her emotions.

Her project was unveiled in 2021 with a first series of freestyles called "Hors ligne". Quickly identified as a determined, technical rapper, she was selected for a number of national competitions, including the Buzz Booster (regional finalist in 2022), Rappeuses en Liberté (2023) and Give Me Five (2023), and was even included in the first selections for Nouvelle École (2024). At the same time, her hard-hitting flows and strong personality have earned her invitations to support a host of well-known artists, including Meryl, IAM and Isha & Limsa D'Aulnay...

In 2023, she unveiled her first EP, "Thérapie": 9 tracks built around a strong desire to heal together in the face of life's trials. R'MAY established herself as an artist in search of authenticity, and 2026 saw a new milestone in her career with the release of her first album: "Humanoïde".

GLIZ.BORN

Gliz.Born, 20 years old, is gradually establishing a style all his own. He's carving out his own unique universe, marked by dark atmospheres, haunting melodies and instantly recognisable soundtracks.

Inspired by artists as diverse as Makala, Travis Scott and Rihanna, he doesn't just borrow: he transforms, reinvents and creates something deeply personal.

Unclassifiable and free, Gliz rejects established codes. His sound, both raw and sensitive, reflects a strong identity and a clear vision. At just 20 years old, he is already revealing a singular, out-of-format artistic direction, confirming that he is like no one else.

S7UN

Hate and pain: that's what s7un expresses in his various projects. Now 20, he is asserting his musical identity, notably through his two latest releases, B2B and MUSIQUE & VIOLENCE. Largely influenced by artists such as Kendrick Lamar and Tuerie, he seeks to be part of a movement that reaffirms the codes of rap while retaining a contemporary sound.

With this in mind, s7un strives to embody its message on stage, offering concerts that blend madness and sensitivity, as it demonstrated when it performed at the Les Ondées festival in 2025. The year 2026 will further define the musical colour of this young artist from Caen. Still imbued with the same emotions and traumas, he uses music as an outlet for the suffering that drives him as much as he hates it.

Come and support local talent and enjoy an evening of exceptional performances!
