Atelier “Le nez au milieu du paysage”

Smell is a discreet sense, often neglected in our image- and sound-saturated societies. Yet it shapes our emotions, our memories and our relationship with the world. This workshop invites you to give it back its rightful place!

In the company of Maryse Delaunay, researcher at the Laboratoire de Psychologie de Caen Normandie (LPCN), you will learn to identify and name odors using sensory bottles, enrich your olfactory vocabulary, and then survey the landscape to draw up a participatory odor map.

This collective experience is part of a participatory research program on olfaction, conducted with the LPCN and ATMO Normandie. Together, we will explore how to describe and share our olfactory perceptions, to better understand the invisible landscapes that make up our daily lives.
