Synopsis:
Garance is a young actress, though not a star. She gets on with things and does her best, valiant, cheerful and resilient, and she finds in alcohol a source of fuel and unconditional comfort. Garance turns her life around and embarks on an eight-year journey of moving house, work, new encounters, parties and anxieties, joys and setbacks. It is a personal, social and sexual revolution, but her drinking continues to escalate – to the point of potentially fatal consequences.
