The SMN Memory and Heritage Association invites you to join a guided tour following in the footsteps of the Société Métallurgique de Normandie through the industrial town of Le Plateau. During this two-hour walk, local residents will draw on archive material to recount their experiences of life in the former industrial town, with its paternalistic structure. It is also an opportunity to reflect on the long-term survival and transmission of this endangered heritage, which needs to be revitalised and reimagined...

As places are limited, booking is essential. No tickets will be available on the day of the tour; payment must be made at the time of booking.
