Hérouville’s clubs and societies are kicking off the new season on Sunday 6 September in the town centre! Nearly 80 organisations will be there to showcase their activities and offer taster sessions and demonstrations! So, which activity will you choose for the new season?
PROGRAMME FOR THE DAY
From 1.00 pm:
Introductory sessions and activities at the festival stalls:
Try your hand at percussion with Couleur CALAO, Akliso and Madras,
Take part in the creative arts workshop with the Alkime theatre company,
Give breakdancing a go with Street Dance Funk,
Play bridge with the Venoix Bridge Club,
Discover computer-assisted music (MAO) with Paroles Liées,
Repair your bike with help from Hérouelibre,
Have your bike marked by Les Dérailleurs…
Highlights on stage: come and enjoy the series of performances put on by the local organisations, featuring dance (Belly dance, hip hop, country…), world music and singing (the Borboleta choir, Madras), and percussion (Couleur Calao, Akliso);
An inflatable play structure on Tikhvine Square – 1pm–6pm
Introductory sessions in sport shooting by the Hérouvillais Sport Shooting Centre at the PAJ – 1pm–6pm
An introduction to chair yoga by the AHQGD at the PAJ
Wellbeing activities organised by the MJC at the PAJ
Sports demonstrations and taster sessions in the courtyard of Saint-Michel Secondary School
A climbing wall at Saint-Michel Secondary School for taster sessions for children aged 3 and over – 1pm–5pm
From 2.30pm to 6pm:
Free pony rides for children aged 3 to 8, organised by Blainville Equitation, Tikhvine Square
5.30 pm:
A DJ set to round off the day!
