The actor Yohann Allex recounts the life of David Bowie through three figures who were close to him: Terry Burns, his half-brother and true mentor during his teenage years; Iggy Pop, his artistic companion from Los Angeles to Berlin; and Philip Glass, who, as if in a mirror image, reorchestrated the three albums of the ‘Berlin trilogy’ in the 1990s into symphonies.
More intimate than the orchestral version premiered last year with the H-ékosi Wind Band Symphony Orchestra as part of the Hérouville Music Season, this musical performance retains the narrative whilst offering a more rock and jazz-infused sound.
