GARZ is the project of Matthieu Garczynski, an independent singer-songwriter whose work spans synth-pop, psychedelic chanson and French-language space rock. From the underground scene to his home studio, he has, over time, crafted a resolutely personal sound that combines French-language lyrics, electro grooves and atmospheric layers. On stage, he blends electric guitar, analogue synths and programmed beats to create a sound that is both lo-fi and cinematic.
Live, GARZ performs as a duo under the name GARZ x2, accompanied by bassist Hubert Francq. The show plays with identity and its doubles, oscillating between the real and the imaginary — a succession of songs that form an introspective and impressionistic journey. A concert, a ritual, a dizzying array of possibilities.
