Some are acrobats with a background in the circus arts. Others are skateboarders with a background in urban sports. At the helm of the SCoM Company, Coline Garcia brings together on stage two disciplines that challenge the body to achieve virtuosity, flight and risk. She has assembled an all-female team to create an explosive group dynamic that overturns conventions and blurs the lines. Inspired by encounters in Brazil and creative residencies, the fusion of choreographic and acrobatic elements invents a new language and reinvents circus prowess. Set to a backdrop of live percussion enhanced by an immersive and organic soundtrack, this show delivers an electrifying blend of physicality and music.
