Breaking news! For years, bees have dominated the covers of nature magazines. Butterflies and bumblebees have been making frequent public appearances. But a scandal has just broken: another celebrity is said to be responsible for a large part of the pollination work too…

The fly. Yes, you read that right.
Long overlooked by the media, it is said to be one of the most active pollinators in our towns and countryside. A revelation that’s sure to cause a stir in gardens! To verify this information, we’re recruiting our best paparazzi. Grab your camera or smartphone and set off in search of the stars of the flower world: bees, bumblebees, butterflies, beetles… and, of course, the mysterious flies.

By taking part in the SPIPOLL programme, you’ll learn to recognise these fascinating insects and contribute to a genuine scientific investigation into biodiversity. Because the biggest scoops are sometimes hidden right under our noses.
