On 18 July 2026, Le Valhalla in Ifs, near Caen, will once again welcome pirates to its Viking tavern for a day of festivities dedicated to the world of piracy, privateers and maritime adventures.
From 2 pm to midnight, young ship’s boys and seasoned sea dogs alike can enjoy a programme combining music, entertainment, games and activities in an immersive atmosphere. Highlights of the event include a concert by the band TOTER FISCH, face-painting sessions for children and adults, a treasure hunt specially designed for the little ones, pirate-themed role-playing taster sessions with DONJOUONS ET ROLONS, and a competition to find the best pirate costume.
Visitors will also be able to take part in a ‘shooter hunt’ for adults only and discover the work of INK MAGINATION, who will be on site as a guest artist for a tattoo session.
Throughout the day, Valhalla’s bar, food area and axe-throwing activities will remain open.
