Join the Fête de la musique in the streets of Caen to celebrate summer to the sound of voices and instruments. For the first time, the City of Caen is offering two new venues dedicated to non-amplified music and voices - and not the least: the Abbaye-aux-Hommes and the Château de Caen!
Acoustic Abbey
The Abbaye-aux-Hommes opens its prestigious halls and esplanade to acoustic musicians of all genres. Come and listen to and applaud these musicians in the magnificent setting of the Abbey and its cloister.
Castle in voice
The Château de Guillaume et Mathilde will welcome all voices, solo or in choir, in its new grounds. Take a stroll through this suspended part of our city, and discover the many voices that will be heard.
In the city
And like every year, the streets of Caen will be the perfect stage for all musical styles, from amateur musicians to professionals.
