Armel is first and foremost a friend and neighbour from Cherbourg.
Originally a rocker and guitarist, he became a banjoist and gradually turned to jazz.
From New Orleans to West Indian biguins and acoustic funk, his talents are eclectic.
When he discovered Esperanto, the idea of writing original songs in the international language came naturally.
The confinement gave him time to prepare his first EP, Banjo Esperanto, which earned him a performance at the 117th Universal Congress in Montreal.

This concert is part of the national Esperanto congress in France, being held in Hérouville Saint-Clair from 22 to 26 May.
