The day will begin at 10.30am with a procession from the church of Saint-Samson, a moment of meditation and tradition.
It will continue at 11am with a mass in tribute to the sailors.
At 12 noon, flowers will be laid at sea to pay tribute to those who lost their lives.
The morning will close with an oyster tasting from 12 noon to 2pm, accompanied by musical entertainment in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
