I glimpse, I see, I see, and maybe....
The sea, the sky, the horizon,
The horizon, visible and sometimes invisible, with or without the sunset, is part of the journey towards abstract expression, hence the transition from reality to abstraction.
In my artistic approach, it's no longer about representing or reproducing reality
to question, criticize and otherwise reveal reality, its contradictions and crises.
The pictorial material is deployed on canvas in a structured rhythm that runs like a thread from one work to the next.
These evocations of an opaque, color-saturated universe are limited only by the visible or borderline horizon that separates the colored spaces, highlighting "light, color and matter".
For me, it's an invitation to a contemplative, meditative wander.
