What tree are you from? That's the question that prompted Joséphine, Lise and Laura to put together a repertoire of covers based entirely on the work of the great black American artists Abbey Lincoln, Bessie Smith, Nina Simone and many others. Because the blues isn't just about men, far from it! And from polyphonic arrangements to pared-down interpretations, these three musicians from Caen remind us that women have things to say too.
