MATHIEU en lumières

At the initiative of the Mathieu en Lumières association, made up of Mathieusans who love their heritage, a number of events will be on offer: a gathering at 7pm in Place de la Mairie to the sound of a brass band, then at nightfall at around 9.30pm an unusual stroll by the light of lanterns and candles, punctuated by a host of surprises in historic places that are exceptionally open to the public: The Pavillon, the Chemin du Hamel, the Route de Beuville, the church, the Ferme du Pavillon, the Villa MacMahon... but to make the night even more special, all Mathieus residents are invited to take part and illuminate their windowsills, walls, paths and other remarkable features for one evening.
