From 7 to 11 April 2026, imagine tomorrow at the TURFU Festival. Conferences, workshops, shows, meetings and screenings... discover a rich programme around science and the future. The event is free of charge and requires registration, at the Dôme, the university and a dozen other cultural venues in the Greater Caen area.
The TURFU Festival is the only event in Caen to take you into the future! This 10th edition invites you to take part in the transformations of our times: care and health, energy sobriety, culture, environment and biodiversity... there's something for everyone, day and evening.
Take part in workshops to share your knowledge and questions, meet our guests and collaborate with the world of research, entrepreneurship and culture.
Have fun, test, build and experience encounters and events combining innovation, the arts and science for and with society. At TURFU, we work together to question the present in order to shed light on the future.
On Saturday 11 April from 11am to 6.30pm, the Dôme opens its doors wide for a day of discoveries and free events for all ages. Biodiversity, the marine world, life beneath our feet... experiments for all and sundry put on by researchers from all over France. A low-tech brunch, meetings between AI and regional languages, live recording of a podcast on research programmes carried out by researchers and the general public.
Places on the workshops and evenings are limited, so book yours fast! Free, registration required.
The TURFU Festival is organised by Le Dôme, in co-production with Tanelorn and the University of Caen Normandie, as part of the Science With and For Society label, with the support of the City of Caen and Caen la mer. Le Dôme is supported by the Normandy Region.
