Workshop-show “À nos fêtes!” | TURFU Festival

Free, registration required. Tomorrow, will partying be a way of forging links without borders?

How can we make our celebrations - yours, his, mine, theirs and yours - resonate? From the buffet to the dance floor, to the outskirts of the party, this workshop/show takes you on a journey, through writing and the body, of what goes on at festive times.

As the culmination of a research-creation project running from November 2025 to May 2026 with student volunteers from the University of Caen Normandie, this is both the culmination of a project and an opportunity to nurture it by gathering material on other experiences, views and perspectives on festivities.

After a collective musical introduction of guided improvisation, the two artists, Emma Doude van Troostwijk and Simon Grangeat, propose a performance that will gradually be augmented by texts written live by the participants in the audience. A performance/party, scheduled to take place at the Imec on 27 May, will incorporate the audience's contributions.
