The Ribambelle Festival (for young audiences aged 0-12) is an annual family event that kicks off during the February holidays and runs for several weeks until March. From early childhood onwards, it invites young spectators to experience their first emotions, stimulate their imaginations, sharpen their curiosity and sharpen their eyes... through encounters with the performing arts. Theatre, dance, music, circus, cinema... The Festival offers a wide range of artistic aesthetics, with the aim of opening up a multi-disciplinary cultural pathway for the public, to be found at the Théâtre du Champ Exquis (Blainville-sur-Orne) and in Hors Champ throughout the region.
This 28th edition of the Festival will run from 25 February to 25 March (with one week open during the holiday period), with a multi-disciplinary programme focusing on current events for young audiences at national, European and international level.
Dedicated to performing arts for young audiences and families, the festival also offers events that resonate with the programme, with contemporary texts (Sylvain Levey), meetings, stage-sides... All to be shared with families or groups (schools, crèches, childminders' centres, leisure centres...).
Exclusively for the festival, we invite you to come and watch :
> A Radio Champ Exquis programme at the Bibliothèque A. de Tocqueville in Caen on Saturday 28 Feb. from 2.30pm to 4pm.
> 4 films screened at the Café des Images - an art house cinema echoing our programme.
> A bespoke creation for the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Caen during their "Plein les Yeux!" weekend event on 6 & 7 March (free).
> And lots of other surprises...
