It's only February, but before the music and dancing begin, it's time to get ready for the Cavalcade de la Nouvelle Guérinière!
And that starts, as in New Orleans, with making your costume. Over there, you'll be dressed in style and elegance, taking the time to sew shiny fabrics and majestic feathers to make sure you look your best at the party! And you'll be proudly wearing the colours of NOLA: purple, green and gold!
That's why La Bar'Acc and Tympan are offering dressmaking/customisation workshops!
The hilarious Café Papote will be welcoming you on Wednesdays from 2.30pm to 5pm from 11 February to make your own boas, necklaces, customise your umbrellas or platform tops, or spice up that old purple t-shirt you don't know what to do with!
These workshops are open to everyone, whether you're with the family, friends or on your own!
Free participatory workshops - bring as many things as you can to recycle
